See how science fiction has influenced scientific discovery through a new exhibition at
the British Library.
‘Out of this World’ journeys through the main themes that dominate science fiction; virtual worlds, future worlds, alien worlds, parallel worlds, the end of the world and questioning the possibility of the existence of a perfect world. Exploration of these themes have provoked hopes, exhilaration and fear in science fiction fans through the centuries.
The exhibition is free, open seven days a week and runs until Sunday 25 September 2011.
