Elect your Culture Forum representatives now!
ARTS & BUSINESS AND NCA CULTURE FORUM: Voting has opened
Voting has opened for membership of the Arts & Business and NCA Culture Forum. The Forum will be an independent voice focusing on the immediate needs of the arts and the role of the private sector in helping to deliver those needs. It will have representation from large and small, metropolitan and regional organisations.

Members of the Forum will be expected to work together, on behalf of the arts sector as a whole to: share insights and ideas for innovative funding models, efficiencies and ways for the cultural sector to work with the private sector; examine how to grow the contribution from the private sector to the cultural sector; and act as a key agent for an arts dialogue and public investment in the arts on the Government’s Big Society agenda. A paper will be delivered to the Chancellor, Secretary of State for Culture, Minister for Culture and senior officials as appropriate.

Over 75 candidates have applied for 20 places, with a designated number of places allocated to each category of organisation (predicated on turnover) to ensure an even spread among the size of organisation represented.

Make sure your voice is heard and you select the candidates you want to represent you in the Government’s debate on the arts economy. Voting closes at 5pm on Monday 19 July.
