Bollywood star first Indian to appear in Playboy
Sherlyn Chopra will be the first Indian to appear nude in Playboy, but the Bollywood starlet told BBC Hindi that it was "not easy" to get her gear off for the magazine.

Ms Chopra, who will appear in the November issue of the magazine, also told BBC Hindi that she could not, "miss the opportunity of posing nude for the world's most established adult magazine."

While, the magazine is banned in India, fans from Ms Chopra’s home country will be able to access the images online.

The 28-year-old actress has played some small roles in Bollywood films and came across the opportunity when she visited Hugh Hefner at his infamous Playboy mansion in LA.

It is unknown how Chopra’s decision will affect her Bollywood career or how her actions will eventually be received in her traditionally conservative home country, but correspondents say that she has been met with lukewarm response, which could be due to the freely available pornographic images available online.

"It is not an easy task to be nude in front of the camera and look good at the same time," Ms Chopra told BBC Hindi.
"I have become the first Indian to pose naked for Playboy and nobody can take away that achievement from me."

"My sister is proud of my achievement. I haven't told anything to my mother, but I think I will visit her and tell her that she has to accept me the way I am."

"I had fun meeting him and his girlfriends. I am thinking of making him my idol because he lives his life on his terms and conditions. I also live my life on my terms and conditions," Ms Chopra said.

Playboy magazine is iconic and was extremely controversial when it was first set up in 1953 but is now going the way of many printed publications and is suffering due to the availability of free content online.
